How to Make Flubber

Page history last edited by Mr. Ullman 12 years, 11 months ago

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. bottle of white glue (Elmer's always works well)
  • Borax
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • Food coloring (optional)

Directions:

1) Empty the bottle of glue into a large container or bowl.

2) Fill the empty bottle of glue with water, and pour that into the bowl as well. Stir.

3) If you want colored flubber, add food coloring and continue to stir.

4) Mix one teaspoon of Borax with the cup of warm water and stir until the Borax is mostly dissolved.

5) Slowly add the Borax mixture to the glue and water mixture...it will start to get goopy right away.  The more of the borax you add, the stiffer your flubber will be.

Enjoy!
