The Battle of Brandywine
- This was a battle that occured during the American revolution. During this war led by George Washington were fighting with the British to gain their independence.
- The battle began on September 11, 1777.
- They are not 100% sure who won and lost. What we ARE sure of is that the British took over control of Philadelphia.
- Only 550 British soldiers were killed\wounded. A lot of Americans were killed\wounded, 1,000 were.
- Even though the Americans lost Philadelphia, they did not lose their hope.

WOW! That's a lot of stuff! You may have to trim this down...what do you think is the most important part of this battle?
